I took my wife's 9000 on a 5 hour trip back to my folks house.
The heat/ac system was acting very wierd though.

1. If I left the temp at 70 degrees, after about 1-1.5 hour, the car would be rather hot, and not a lot of cold air was coming out of the vent. Almost like the A/C was off or the flapper was stuck halfway between hear and cold.

2. I don't like the fan blowing a ton of air so I usually turn the fan down so that it is slowly moving. After about 1-1.5 hour it seems as if the fan gets stuck, or something catches the blades. When I go to turn the fan up because the car is hot from problem #1, I don't feel a lot of air coming out of the vents. The fan sounds like it's moving full speed, but I can hear something inside that sounds like the air is being blocked.
Any ideas?

After I shut off the ACC system for about 5 minutes, and then set it to auto, everything seems to be back to normal. Until the next 1 hour.

I just replaced the heater blower motor with a Saab replacement, and put in a new flapper. The flapper motor has been acting up in the past, but seems to function okay as I can go get hot and cold air.

Most of the time I just want to change the air temp by changing the temperature setting, but leave the fan on the low speed.
