First thing is to get the door to open. I guess the lock tab does not come up when you unlock from your drive seat. You can remove the inside door handle cover even thogh you can not remove the door panel because the door is closed. After the cover is removed, use your finger to locate the rod connecting the lock tab to the locking mechanism. Move the rod toward the front of the car to unlock.
Once the door is unlocked. You need to remove the inside door panel to see what's wrong inside.
