The front one isn't bad at all. You pull the RH front fender liner (it's two pieces), the accessory belt(s), and the main pulley (also called the harmonic balancer. That's it. The seal can be pried out with a screwdriver and the new one slowly knocked in with a hammer. The only hard part is breaking the main pulley bolt loose and the main concensus is: 4th gear, buddy on the brake with both feet, really long pry bar. (If your's is automatic, you'll have to lock the fly wheel.
For the rear, remove the transmission; not the engine. Excellent time to check the clutch for wear. Also an easy opportunity to lock the flywheel for the previous "front bolt breaking" described above. Good luck! Every 300 miles huh? Maybe a catch basin under the car and then pour the oil back in?
