I guess I'm trying to understand whether it could be the sensor or the wiring...
I've been having a lot of TCS limp-home problems, but the car never stalls or fails to start. The tach never drops off. So that makes me think trionic/di are getting an acceptable signal. But the measurement at the ETS ECU looks weird. Where else along the signal path can I test the crank sensor signal?
The other symptom that I've been having occasionally is bucking/missing. I will have a rapid, repeating fluctuation in power. The boost guage jumps around to reflect this, but the tach stays solid. This happens at various accelerator pedal positions, including when my foot is off and the engine is idling. That makes me think it's not the pedal potentiometer. The throttle is almost new, and tests ok...
Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
