Thanks for the opinions & advice. Right, I knew about how the rear seat bottoms had to be pulled up and moved into place against the back of the front seats before the rear seat backs can be put down. And it's also clear that, although the seat backs rest at an angle, they can be pressed down further if I have to put something large and heavy in the back (such as the new coffee table I picked up yesterday afternoon...) I just wasn't sure if there was some kind of clip that I just hadn't found. I appreciate the useful info!

Speakers: I have almost no bass and at high volumes (yeah, well, I like my music loud) there is an annoying "blatting" kind of sound that is a pretty clear indication that the speakers no longer have what it takes. I would prefer to NOT go to a dealer for this so it's good to know that I probably don't need to. I think I might be asking Santa for new speakers this year.

Starting: I'm feeling a bit like a new mom; every little thing that's even slightly out of the ordinary makes me panic. Omigod it took four seconds to start up instead of two, something must be wrong!! I'm aware that it's a car that is no longer young and one that will treat me well only if I take very good care of it, so I'm tending to be over-cautious right now and seeking opinions on anything that makes me suspicious. Which is just about everything... Was this like that before? Is that noise OK? Did I just break that? And so on. :-)

Thanks again ~RedAeroGirl
