I did a search here on the site, and the BPC failed the blow test. It's been several weeks since I've done it (remember, I've slept since then), so don't remember exactly which of the ports I blew on, but as memory serves (poorly) it was not an electrical failure, but the valves. I ordered the new BPC from the dealer, and still haven't received it yet, so I don't know if that will fix the problem.
BTW the problem was (is) fluxuating boost guage needle at higher rpm in every gear with WOT. Actually, I don't do WOT in first gear (and seldom in second), but it would probably be the same. I assume that the computer sensed an over boost and cut fuel, but that is a guess. When I get the new BPC, I'll post my results.
See my post to Kappy's question too.
