The door panel is very easy to remove. Although I haven't done the drive side front door (have done to the other three).
There are two bolts on either side of the map pocket. Each is covered by a plastic cap. There are two more bolts on the door handle. Again, each is covered by a plastic cap. There is one screw on the door lever, after you remove the long oval black plastic trim using a small flat blade screw driver. Remove the door lever trim by pulling the lever. And then then you remove one screw on the door light. Unplug the electric connectors on the light. Unscrew one more screw in the door light recess. These are all the bolts/screws to undone.
Run a 1" wide putty blade between the door panel and door to locate the plastic snap locks. Pull the door panel away from the door to separte. I think there are two or three snap locks.
Grab on the door handle, lift the door panel up and away from the door to remove it.
I have not described how to unfasten the side view mirror switch and the rear hatch lock button as I mentioned earlier I have never removed the driver side front door.
