Yer dealer 'Should' be fine The 9k Boxes are Really simple things. except they need a Specific 'Puller' to open 'em up. Actually these are almost identical in design and construction to an Accord's (except the Accord is easier to open and lives LOTS longer) Very easy to rebuild.. Hey.. I even Did It .. and it still works :-)
Eriksson is attractive.. BUT these are Mail order items and Re and Re-ing is left up to the customer..in case of 'Warrantee' claims you have to pull, ship and eventually reinstall the returned unit.. after weeks if not months of seeking alternate transport.
Not a happy scenario by any measurement.
Get yer dealer OR indie to do the rebuild.. as long as you feel secure that they are 'up to the Job'
This Ain't Rocket science, by any stretch of the imagination.
