You can check at the rear caliper and see if the cable detached itself from the lever on the caliper. If so, it may be a simple matter of reinstalling it. If this is all that's happened, then you might want to check the amount of pad you have remaining on the brakes. I've not seen it happen, but in theory there might be additional "slack" in the cable if the pads are extremely low.
Next consideration is that the cable may have come free at the handbrake lever inside the car. Remove the little bristled cover over the lever by removing the retaining screw at its front side and lifting the piece over the lever and away. You might see the free end dangling around down inside the console somewhere. I haven't removed the console, but it's possible you could remove the ashtray housing and storage bin in order to reach through the back and reattach the cable.
Finally, of course, a cable may have snapped. In this scenario you'll have to do both the steps listed above, AND replace the cable.
