What I think I will do is only remove the top half of the clutch hose.....ie the rubber hose that attaches mid way to the slave that goes to the master cylinder. I will then go to a hydraulic place and get a higher pressure hose fitted on (hell maybe even stainless). the hose to the slave is in very good condition. This may get me on the road quicker than waiting for a new part to arrive from the states.
How do I make this initial step mess-free. In other words I want to remove part of the hose, but do not want fluid everywhere. Do I open the bleed nipple on hte slave and let it drain by gravity, enough for most of it to come out of the hose?
that is probably all the help I need at the moment. I think I may try the inner tube pressure method when the hose is fixed. But one step at a time.....
