I had the whole A/C r12 system flushed and retrofitted, with a new compressor from Europarts, new expansion valve, new o-rings and drier. The system was charged with R-134A and upon starting cools great but does not cycle (i.e it stays on and will probably burn our the compressor ;-) nor does it react to the Auto, Econo or OFF buttons on the ACC control panel. I finally had to disconnect the wiring to the compressor. My friend who did the work for me thinks it's ACC "electronics" and that I need a new ACC. However, I remember that the a/c cycled before my old compressor seized up... Any ideas? I would really appreciate any input how to deal with this.
