1. Crack the banjo bolt where the fuel line connects to the injector fuel rail. Carefully, as the fuel in the line is under pressure. If fuel squirts out, then you most likely have a bad ignition cassette. Join the club. I keep a spare on the shelf at all times, in the trunk on long trips.
2. If no fuel squirts out then you have a bad fuel pump, a bad fuel pump relay or perhaps a bad ignition switch. Occasionally a bad fuel pressure regulator causes no starts.
You can learn quite a bit by probing the fuse panel;
12 volts should be present on both side of the fuel pump fuse. Remove the fuel pump fuse and then fuel pump side of the fuse holder should measure 2-4 ohms to ground. Fuel pumps usually fail open.
A bad fuel pump can usually be coaxed into running again by whacking the fuel tank with a mallet. They'll run fine again until you shut the car off.
