Before you dig in, you might want to check the cranking in neutral. Hold the key to the crank position while you wiggle the shifter fore/aft around neutral. That should tell you if the switch works, but is just out of adjustment. If it is wrong in neutral, it'll be wrong in Park as well.

If you are referring to the park/neutral safety switch, I believe that it is integrated with the gear selector position switch. It is operated by the gear shifter, and located just under the console surface. I'm going from distant memory, but I think the wide shifter handle comes off with 2 screws from the front side (don't loose the little spring and button things inside the handle). Next the console top that surrounds the shifter is retained with a small screw under that round cover plug (maybe 1/4" diameter) just in front of the shifter lever. The console cover lifts off after some jockeying around (try putting the shifter into the low gear position to release the front edge, then vice versa). Under that should be the switch that you want to check.
