*must be done through fender well
*replace both the idler and tensioner pulleys, along with the belt
*the bolt holding the tensioner pulley is left hand thread.
*you will need a 1/2" drive 18" breaker bar and IIRC a 19mm socket for the tensioner pulley
*you don't need a special tool to hold the tensioner compressed, you will compress it with the breaker bar & socket when tightening the tensioner pulley bolt
*if you have long gawky arms like me you can hold the tensioner compressed with breaker bar from the top with one arm and reinstall the belt through fender well with the other.
*check tensioner carefully - might be time to change it while you've got it apart. My tensioner was shot at 85k miles.
*check the harmonic balancer (crank pulley) for slippage and paint some stripes across the rubber insert so you can tell if it slips in the future.
*check motor mounts while you're in there
*check washer reservoir, hoses, and check valves too
Have fun!
