Audis, Subaru, and SUV's be damned nothing comares to a Saab with Blizzaks. It snowed in CO this weekend and I made the trip from Boulder to Keystone on Sat. around 10 am and left around 4. Anyone that lives here knows there were more rollovers and accidents then the the police and tow trucks could even keep up with, but my Saab was able to maintain no less then a cool 70 MPH in the unplowed lanes going up and down I-70. You all may not think it is possible, but I sure convinced my two friends my roomate inperticular when we blew by many of his favorite car (Audi Allroad) as they lumbered along at around 40. I must add on little tidbit to the end of this though; the allroad is an awsome car in the snow and driven by someone competent could go almost anywhere. I am sure that the car was not the weak link, but it thought it was great blowing by these people. I have been with my Dad in the snow in his and it never flinched even with summer tires on, I just site this as a deciding factor for my friend. After he saw me pass a bunch he promtly relaxed, commented on how sick it was that my car was going so easily in these conditions, and went to sleep because he knew my car was now a bad ass machine in the snow! He acctually barrowed it the new day to run some errands cause his Jeep was having trouble on the ice.
