I have a 1990 9000s that i just turboed and i cant seem to work out two problems. One is the dang coolant line on the turbo that leaks at the flange, that things just a pain to stop, but anyways i have a question of why the car keeps stalling out. If i run the engine up to were it begins to get a good taste of boost and suddenly release the throttle the car wants to stall. Also, any time the car is put on a decent load for more than a few seconds and the clutch is punched and the engine is allowed so simply spin down with the flywheel it stalls. The car can be kept running if you heel-toe it while braking or just give it alittle throttle but it still seems odd. I ruled out all vaccuum leaks even though it seems like it is the total cause of the problem. The AIC seems to work as when i unplug it it changes the idle (simple test). There may be some differences in the systems in turbo cars as far as vacuumm work so i dont if that would cause it. Any suggestions? I would be very appreciative.
thanks!
