I always had the impression that there were differences in chemistry in the various brake fluids which could have the effect of eroding seals, o-rings, etc. if the wrong fluid were used. Is this incorrect?
I wonder how they managed to use DOT 3 when there's an unmistakeable label specifying DOT 4 on the reservoir?
