Handbrake problems

My first 9000i (after my 900) a 9000i from 1991 the old model and was fine on the handbrake for 6 years.... No I got the latest model a 9000CS from May 1994 and the previous owner and I have got some strange problems with the handbrake. Cable is OK and the spring is clean and as far I can see strong enough. But sometimes I need much more power as the spring will give to get the brake released. Through the hole from the in bus for adjusting the brake I tried to inject some oil but as far I can see it will come into the self adjusting mechanism. In the original Saab workplace books I can't find anything regarding the inside, so no idea how to get it smooth? Strange effect its only the right wheel, the left is functioning normal. My cable has got the original 1mm free floating space so I have no idea what is going wrong. The adjustment after renewing the pads is made correct (a half turn back) and its turning smooth if there is no lock.... Any help appreciated since I need the brake sometimes and its not good for your cloths to lay at your back on the street to help the handbrake to release. And I can't find a way for an extra spring..
Best Regards,
Evert van Belle
