for the 'then wife care' Taurus SHO. I take them down to the local Shell station to have them mounted. I come back to pick it up and one of the fronts has the direction arrow pointing the wrong way.
I call the manager over, he looks at the tire and tells me 'There must be two different types of tires, rights and lefts, and one of the tires I brought him was wrong'.
Rather than blow up, which was my first reaction, I ask him to humor me and I'll pay him twice the price for the remount if this doesn't work. We take the tire off, flip it over, remount it and just like magic the arrow is pointing the right way. I finally saw the light bulb go on, albeit dimly.
Anyway, I doubt your tire has suffered any ill effects but why risk it. Besides, incompetence should come with a price. The one simple job you have to trust someone else to do and they screw it up.
Good Luck
