each cam gear has marks on it,the 1-2 cam gears each have a 1-2 cam line, use line 1 for #1 cam, line 2 for cam #2,same for 3 and 4 cams sprockets.line 3 for cam #3 line 4 for cam #4,they line up to the backing plate behind the cam gears, there is a notch in that backing plate that they line up with, make sure the crank is on TDC before disasembly, the line on the crank gear will be pointing down, match the double line on the new timing belt to the crank gear, make sure the arrows on he timing belt are in the correct direction of rotation,(towards the front of the car)and line up the cam lines with the timing belt lines, then all the slack has to be taken out of the belt with the 3 adjustment pulleys, special tools are required for this job. if the shop isnt 100% sure how to do this job i would have it towed to someone who is,anything more than 11* variation in the timing will destroy the heads, anything more than a perfect job and the engine wont run correctly.good luck
