I think. Not sure if the '92s ran the amps, but if yours DOES, then the rear speakers are powered through that amp. You'll need to find the line that runs to the amp and splice in. Likely you will simply bypass the amp.
I removed the passenger seat to gain access to the amp when I did my stereo replacement.
I also used Crutchfield, and they were very helpful. There SHOULD be rear speaker wires coming out of the crutchfield harness, if I remember correctly. You need to splice the original rear wires to the harness wires. You'll need to buy some 18-guage wire to reach from the harness to the original wires. Four wires, one for each of the two positive lines, one for each of the two negative lines. The wires running to the amp from the rears (again, if you have one):
-- Right Rear Positive: Red with white stripe
-- Right Rear Negative: Blue with white stripe
-- Left Rear Positive: Brown with white stripe
-- Left Rear Negative: Green with white stripe
Of course, if you have any questions, be sure to call Crutchfield technical support. They can walk you through your exact car.
Good luck!
