Its an 86 9kT, so no DI. I replaced the fuel filter, and also the dist-cap/roter and the same thing. I checked the plugs, and they were quite carbon fouled. Unless Im wrong, that means over-rich fuel mixture.
Now the car isnt stalling out, but is really fluctuating, like the timing if off. Theres also a strong smell of gas, and smoke from the rear when it does this. For some reason it starts running too rich about 10 seconds after startup. What could do this?
