it all comes down to your goals for the car.

My C900 was a great handling car. I could dice through traffic with surgical precision. It also generated lots of tickets. Really a testimony to how much fun 150HP can be in a 2600 pound car.

9000s are bigger and roomier. 9000s are a similar body style from 86-92 and from 93-98.

The later 9000s are quieter and much smoother than the early versions. The 5 speed Aero motors are one of the best production motors that's ever been.

The early models handled better and had rowdy pipey motors. Fun to drive though.

My personal favs are 91-92 or 96-98.

Reliability was pretty much equal between C900s and 9000s. With proper care & maintenance either will go 250k easily.
