I just did the same, it's not too hard or time consuming.
Go to Quasimotors.com for instructions.
My tips for you:
It all starts with the door light,
remove it and bend the screw clip toward the front of the
car to free it. Be sure to get the clip back around the panel
when you replace the panel, otherwise you can put the light lens
back wrong, threading though the back of the clip instead of the
front. That's what I did the first time, and the botom of the
panel wasn't flush with the metal of the door. I was looking at
the light after I re-installed the panel and realized that was the
reason the panel wasn't right, the light fastner clip was not holding
the panel to the door. I bent it back and over the panel, replaced the
lens, and all was as it should be. Nice to have the door functioning as designed again.
One more tip: take a good look at the plastic or rubber channel on the
top of the panel before you re-install it. It's simpler than I
thought it was, there is a big channel, and it can only fit on one
part of the door, the upper flange of the interior sheet metal. The
panel didn't seem to go down far enough when I first put it on, so I removed it and looked. If you do that you won't be trying to get it
to mate with fastners/clips etc. They don't exist in the door, gravity
is all you have to use to replace the upper portion of the panel. Also
make sure (if it's a rear door) that the recepticle for the rearward
part of the panel is clean, it's where I had the problem getting the
panel to set right. Bottom line is if it doesn't seem to set down right,
don't look for hidden things hanging you up, it's all quite straightforward.
Last thing: roll down the window for re-installing panel, I got that tip
from this bb.
