though, I think I might need to have a brace made to attach the dp to the bracket coming from the bottom of the engine, as is found on newer 9000's.

I still have the bracket in place, but have nowhere to attach it to on the top of the JT dp since it aligns right where the flexjoint is.

People have mentioned that this is something that should be done. I am noticing now that I have a white powdery film forming around the turbo/exhaust connection, as well as turbo/manifld connection, which is leading me to believe the weight of the exhaust system is pulling down on the turbo.

Hence why Saab put the oem brace there in the first place...
