Well, of all times for the windshield washer to crap out, it had to be on our 650 mile trip down to Charlotte from NJ. Amazing how cruddy one's windshield will get without having any washer capability.
Anyway, got home, got underneath the car and looked around. Fluid coming from all directions under the engine when I hit the washer switch...motor worked ok. Found that one of the wash hoses was disconnected and the part to connect to was somewhere inside the wheel line. Took off the rf wheel and the front wheel liner. Found the disconnected hose behind the liner and reconnected.
So fellow Saabophiles, whenever you have occasion to have to remove the rf wheel liner, check the washer hose behind it for a nice tight connection as a preventative maintenance item, before it manages to disconnect itself.
