According to my wife its more like me being welded (a strong form of attachment I guess) to this car. The only Saab that may make me reconsider keeping the 94 9000 Aero (only 79,000 miles to date) is the proposed 9-3 sport hatch (if it really does appear on these shores with a 250hp turbocharged engine); but go figure, I love the styling of the sport hatch and the wife finds it bizarre.
It turned out that I did not remove the latch mechanism from the driver's door due to the head of one of the torx mounting bolts being all buggered up (need to visit the 9000 at the local salvage yard this weekend to get some spare torx mounting bolts I guess). So I simply lubed all the latches in place and that was sufficient to correct the problem of the sticking door locks.
