Have you taken off top rad hose and looked in at the core? Its hard to do if your in Nort Ame. just now but to test the rad I have removed both hoses (top hose at engine), stuffed water hose in top one and flowed it as fast as possible. Hold hand over lower nipple and let fill and I just judged (real scientific Mars lander/rover engineering here) how it emptied once full. It shouldn't back up just flowing hose into it I wouldn't think. this info is only for use if someone who has a better test (probably anyone) writes in.

Just to guess though, I say you have a good chance of a jammed core. I would replace that 82°C with a 89°C though. Nobody in North Am. needs an 82.
