Don't know fer sure, but I can go hours and feel fine... no stiffness or any discomfort.
I'm not sure why the bolster continues in front, except I think the theory is that it's better for your back to have support all the way out your legs--almost all the way to the backs of your knees, and that it's also better to have your butt a bit lower than your knees--which the Saab seat seems to do. By angling the seat bottom I find it works fine.
I don't find the so-called "waterfall" seat bottom designs in most cars to have the same degree of support.
Seats and steering are biggies for me in a car and Saab seats are hard to beat. Am actually sort of looking for a good seat I can convert into a chair for my office.
