97 9K-T, AT; gas and brake pedel so close?

It drive me nuts how close the brake and gas pedels are on my automatic, I need to tilt my foot sideways to not touch the brake pedel. I only have a size 11 shoe, so I cannot be the only person that notices this. Anyone do a modification to move the brake pedel to the left a bit?
