Just fitted a new rear hub to my '88 9K, but I'm concernened I may have put too much load on the bearing.
I reused the old hub-nut and tightened as hard as possible pushing down on a 1.5 foot 3/4in wrench and stout 1.2 foot extension pipe. I only weigh in at around 140pounds and dunno if I could exert too much force.
I was going to redo with a torque wrench, but can't find one that reads high enough!
