of the fluid, which (according to Haynes, though I've edited the article a little) is as follows:

Take the car for a short journey to warm the transmission to normal operating temperature, then park it on level ground. With the engine idling, select D for about 15 seconds, then engage R and wait a further 15 seconds. Do this again in P and leave the engine idling.

Withdraw the dpistick and wipe off all the fluid with a clean, lint-free cloth or paper towel. Push the clean dipstick back into the tube as far as it will go, then withdraw it and note the level. There are two sets of marks, one for fluid @ 40C and one for 80C - use the upper ones for a transmission at normal operating temperature.

You top up the transmission (if required) through the dipstick tube, but never overfill it, and avoid any foreign matter getting into the transmission.

Finally, take the car for a short run and check the level again.

I don't know anything about the companies you mention but there is plenty of information about the auto transmission in the "Saabmaster" pages on the Townsend Imports ste (sponsors, all-round Good Eggs). Nothing on a "une-up" but it's worth checking the adjustment of the kick-down cable if things are note happening the way you expect. Governor seals etc. can be replaced DIY but cleanliness is an absolute must!

Don't believe the ACC comes into it.
