I don't have the mentioned 'unrefined' feel in my 2.0L. What is this about? Have you had any clutch work done lately, have you had your flywheel machined? Is your harmonic balancer on the way out? A cracked flex pipe? a slight leak in the exhaust manifolt? All of this could contribute to slight vibration.
