Hey, I just got my car ('93 Aero. 5 Speed) back together after a head gasket replacement (And some of those other things that get replaced at the same time). It started up nicely, and runs really smoothly. It does, however, NOT boost like it should. It boosts only to atmospheric pressure (to the top of the white, but not into the orange on the turbo gauge.) *I'm assuming that its atmospheric pressure where the turbo gauge changes from white to orange (not red) since the intake side pulls a vacuum with the throttle body closed and the boost gauge goes into the white.*
Anyway, I checked the dump valve rod, and it looks like it's still in place. Is it possible that this needs adjusting?
Anything else I should check as far as the whole APC system (I know that there about a thousand valves (all with three letter acronyms)) that I can check? I'm just hoping that there's some quick and easy advice on a couple of things that I may have over-looked on re-assembly.
Thanks,
Peter
