Left rear caliper apparently seized up, and ground pads to about nothing.
Of course, cold as blazes, and had a cold myself. Cleaned out the garage, got car in, and it sat for about a week. Ordered calipers from EEuroparts- rapid delivery. Also ordered a set of Speed Bleeders. And when I got into it, needed a rotor (well, could have used the old, but was grooved).
Speed Bleeder, ordered by using their site, didn't fit. I had a set for my daughter's 96 900SE--fit fine. Used info from board and Haynes--all went pretty smoothly. Speed Bleeder made it much easier to purge line.

Now a month later, warm enough to work outside (yesterday). First, changed brake fluid and installed the Speed Bleeders on all 4 cylinders. Decided I'd better replace the pads on the right side. Got all the way down to needing to push the piston in--moved about 1/4 inch, not nearly enough to put new pads in. Big C clamp wouldn't move it more that a tiny bit.
Bit the bullet, and went to local parts store. They had one, net cost after core refund was about the same as EEuroparts (and I didn't have to wait another day). Local part had some assembly required, didn't have caliper guide pins, required reuse of parking brake spring.

Funny how things get easier to do when it is the third or fourth time in a short period----

Next up, as soon as I get the replacement bleeders for my daughter's 900, replace her brake fluid.
