Yes I mean for you to do the entire hood/bonnet. I don't know of any other way that will also restore it to like new condition. If you have rust spots, that's a whole nother thing because instead of just sanding down to the paint level and having it reshot with clear coat. You might have to instead have it sanded down to the original primer and then painted and clear coated to make liek new again. Either way, you can do the sanding yourself to save money on prep work. That still shouldn't take more than 1 hr or so. If having to go that route, then perhaps you'll need to use 600 to 800 grit sand paper to get down to the primer more quickly.
