I can do most any job on a 9000, even a major job, with a very basic set of tools. I've owned other cars where even minor jobs started with a trip to the SnapOn truck for a couple hundred dollars worth of specialized tools.
Also, Saabs can be taken apart and put back together dozens of times without picking up any rattles or stripped fasteners or broken parts. I've had other cars where things were stapled together, glued together or used 'one shot' fasteners.
Finally, with a little effort Saab 9000s are infinitely renewable. While lots of cars can go over 200k, Saabs are the only marque I know of that can go 300k and still look and run and perform like they did when they were new.
Last of it's kind.
