bizarre boost gauge and gas consumption (long)

I have an 88 9000 turbo with 186,000 miles. Last night and this morning, there was some very strange behavior regarding the boost gauge, fuel consumption, and battery.

I noticed that the boost gauge (which I know are not exact) is ALWAYS in the yellow. At idle, the gauge will read at the left edge of the yellow, and will move up a bit, but never past halfway in the yellow, regardless of how much I stomp on the gas. I should note that my gauge never typically went into the red, and would chug under heavy acceleration (summer project!).

Driving to work this morning, my "miles to empty" readout went from 160 to 51 in 15 miles (only 5 miles on highway).

The car also stalled three times (twice last night and once this morning). Twice as I approached a stop, and once as I went through a slow turn. I'm willing to chalk these up to the driver not giving enough gas, but I haven't stalled the car in years. When driving however, the voltage output was between 13.5 and 13.9.

Upon startup this morning, the idle was wacky. 500RPM rev up to 1500RPM, and back down like it is almost going to stall. Once the engine warmed up, this went away.

I have a relatively new air filter (last August), new plugs correctly gapped (January). I could not find any obvious vacuum leaks after a quick check, but need to check the hose ends.

Any ideas? This evening, I plan to pull the plugs and see what they look like, and will also make sure that the knock sensor is plugged in (by the oil filter, yes?). O2 sensor seems like a good bet, as well as the fuel pressure regulator.

You guys have been invaluable to me in the past--I've done much research, but I couldn't really find a situation like this one, so any suggestions would be appreciated.
