still sounds like a vacuum leak.
Idle is controlled by the ECU in the later-model 9000's (as opposed to an AIC in the older years).
If there is a leak in the system, then idle will be rough.
What about the O2 sensor? That affects idle.
Plugs? NGK? Gapped correctly? Each car is particular to the gap size. My idle is rough if I use 0.90mm (which is what is recommended when you're using a modified ECU as I am). My car likes the gap to be at 1.00mm. In fact, it likes it even more at 1.10mm, but I lose bottom-end pull at that size. You should play with the gap size and see if it helps smooth-out the idle.
Dirty throttle body?
Clogged injector(s)?
Using premium gas?
Would the DI cassette affect idle, and if so, could it be on its way out?
Other than that, I have no clue what would affect idle.
