Glass pack mufflers are not specifically designed for offroad. As for replaceing your 'first muffler' with it, this is fine. The 'first muffler' is actually a resonator, nothing much more than a glasspack. For the second muffler, I would use an actual muffler. You can find these for only a few dollars more than a glasspack, the thing is that since they're larger, it's a little tougher to hang. Goo dluck getting it all hung without bending pipe. You're pretty much stuck with bending it. There's no way you'll have ANY clearance, especially on an aero if you send it straight back. If they do any emmission testing, you won't pass with that type of configuration. As for brands, I know of Thrush and Cherry Bomb, both are field tested, but that was on my CJ5.
