Hi Stefano,
My car is a '96 CSE 2.0 LPT -> FPT. My car has a Vialle LPi system (Liquid Petroleum injection) which means that the LPG is injected in liquid form (it's the only system that does this) instead of being converted to gaseous form first. You're in luck because a friend of mine used to work for Landi in Italy designing LPG systems. He could probably help. He now is an independant engineer designing LPG systems but he has contacts at Landi, Italy. Sometimes, he ask me to help him with programming his ECUs but I have to decline as my schedule does not permit. You friend's car does not sound like a software problem, but more like a hardware problem. My suggestion is to check the wiring where it's integrated into the fuel inj. system and make sure all splices are good (look for the splice near the ECU connector). Also, check the connector on the Landi ECU and make sure the pins are not corroded etc... In the meantime, I'll ask my friend if he has any suggestions.
