Lu, there is no voltage at the lead wire when trying to run the compressor. Any suggestions on what to check next?
Regarding the LHM and stalling when hot, I removed and cleaned the throttle body with air intake cleaner and the problem is not resolved. Another search on the BB led me to check the resistance of the TCS bleeder valve on the false bulkhead panel (thanks Anders) and it reads 68 Ohms when the valve is warmed up from running the car. So I'm planning on replacing the bleeder valve. Does this sound like a logical next step or are there more (less expensive) things to check before this. All vacuum hoses are ok and recently replaced, resistance on the isolator valve(?) on the driver's side fender (US) is 30 Ohms, and TCS check valve holds vacuum.
Perhaps the A/C and LHM problems are a coincidence.
Thanks again.
