Can’t get idle low enough. Any ideas?

Hello all,
My ’87 9kT previously idled correct, but this weekend my AIC valve stuck open causing a very high idle (1500-2000rpm). I replaced it with a spare I had around and cleaned the throttle body while I was at it. No my idle is still a bit too high (900-1000rpm with the test wire grounded or AIC disconnected) which doesn’t allow the AIC to control idle as it should.
The throttle screw is backed out all the way (always has been), the deceleration pot is not holding the throttle up, and the throttle positions sensor is correctly set. I triple checked for vacuum leaks and could find none and even sprayed some carb cleaner around the intake boots without finding anything.
I’m at a total loss about how to get my idle where I should be. I remember having this problem a few years ago on the same car when I cleaned the throttle body, but don’t remember what I did to fix it (I guess the lesson is leave well enough alone!).
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Craig
