How would anyone recommend that I flush my '86 9000T transmission COMPLETELY, without taking it all the way apart. There is no drain plug, and taking it apart is not an option. It is, however, out of the car, with the inner-driver removed, speedo cable removed and fill plug removed. so I will be able to get most of what ever i put in out.
There sounds like there is something bouncing around the inside of this tranny, I think it may be a rock. This tranny has been sitting with the speedo cable removed (so an open hole), for over a year so it is very likely something got into it. I don't want to drive it and have a gear grind on this rock. I'm sure it wouldn't be good for it :).
I've drained most of the fluid from it as I can, but want to certain before putting it on my good car. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
