I just took an 400 mile (in each direction) road trip and the EDU indicated about 31-32 mpg on the way there and 29 on the way back. The EDU reading on the way back includes idling for about an hour and a half in stopped traffic, so I imagine that, while moving, I averaged 31-32 mpg as well. The bar graph thing on the EDU (instantaneous MPG) seemed to hover around higher numbers when I was controlling the throttle myself rather than using the cruise control, even though I have a pretty heavy foot.
