It's been mentioned a few times that installing poly in the rear sway bar will lessen the amount of under(over? I forget which the car has)steer in the front. But then if you install poly in the front sway bar, it brings it back, so the best bet is to stay with rubber in the front, poly in the rear.
This is exactly what I did, as well as replaced the front with new rubber ones. What a difference!!!! I went with poly front control arm bushes, and also poly end-link bushes. The handling is crisp and tight now.
I used SuperFlex poly for the rear sway bar, Abbott Racing poly for the control arms, and Pro-Thane poly (from PepBoys) for the end-links (same as for a '64 Mustang--search through archives for the product #'s).
