Had a headgasket/radiator replacement done there on an 89CDT last year. Chuck is a very nice guy, I felt he was honest with me. It took a long time for them to get to the car, but I understood they were busy when I dropped it off. They charge dealer rates for parts, which isn't uncommon, I hear.
Basically it wasn't cheap, like $1600, but the work seemed fine and Chuck did a couple extra things for me and didn't charge extra labor. When my car runs I take it to a guy in Northern Vermont. he told me the head/rad job would have been $700 if I had hauled the car up there. That's the only reason I won't go back to Mecca if I can help it.
P>S> My friend Ted really likes Mecca, they solved a very obscure electrical problem for him. Good Luck -AMG
