The dp could be rubbing up against the bottom of the engine, and rattling while the engine is running. Mine is pressed firmly against the bottom of the engine, so no rattling occurs, but another's might not be so tight.
Always check the tightness of the dp-to-turbo studs/nuts. I check mine every oil change (5K miles), and still find them to be able to be tightened, and this is after having it on for 2 years!
I doubt the heat-shield is loose on the cat, though anything is possible. If this is the case, return it since it should still be under warranty.
One (or both) of the rubber hangers that attach the cat to the metal brackets under the chassis could be broken. I had one of mine tear in half about 5K miles after installation. I found that by using one oem Saab rubber hanger, and one aftermarket (from a part stores -- needed the openings cut a little larger to fit over the metal brackets, was much longer than the oem one allowing the cat to sit better under the car), I haven't had the problem again.
The sound could be coming from the rear, but appears to be from the front. I found that the pipe that goes over the rear axle needed adjustments since it would bang against the suspension components when going around a curve.
One (or more) clamp used to connect the pipes together is loose. Re-check them all for tightness.
You definitely need to re-check the complete system a few thousand miles after installation for anything that might have loosened up. Then you need to check it again every so often to make sure all is tight. After that, it should be maintenance-free, excpet for checking the tightness of the dp-to-turbo studs/nuts (check them every oil change).
