Pressure yes or pressure no?

Okay,
So dicussed my post yesterday below -responded to by Lu and another, I found that the wife's 9000 cs had a pressurized coolant system and consequent very firm upper radiator hose at temp. My Aero upper hose remained squeezable after driving and therefore not pressurized. I feared thermostat problems were evident in her car because my old '89 and this Aero were squeezable at all time.
Lu explained the expansion tank cap determines this. Last night I switched caps with the wife's car and low and behold- I achieved pressure in my Aero's coolant system. Which way is better?? it is only a cap-swap for me to have it either way. Is pressurized system desirable? I live in Miami and it will be getting hot soon (if climate is a factor)
Advice appreciated. Thanks
