Confirm my dead DI too???

HEy all.
Funniest thing, was driving along today and just 150 meters from the dealer (wasn't even going there) my 93 CSE just died. I was able to coast and get close enuff to the dealer so I left it there.
I am able to start the car, it runs for maybe three-five seconds and idles very erratically, even as low as 500 up to 1500. The second I touch the gas it dies. I removed the DI and smelled it, no burnt smell or any leakage. It sounds okay when running, so I'm not expecting mechanical failure, just very erratically. What is it? DI cartridge, IAC, Throttle body? (I have the dreaded TCS) Went thru and checked all fuses, none blown.
Now, previously today I had the BPC valve and hooter valve off to clean the BPC with carb cleaner, (still in base boost). I drove about 5 miles wit the BPC disconnected from the electrical plug, and then WITHOUT shutting off the car, plugged it back in. Five more miles in stop and go traffic, rpms went to zero and I was coasting. Could I have fried the ECU? Oh, and lately it has had to crank over a little longer when warm to start. DI?
Thanks for looking!
